Red Bank
Situated on the banks of Monmouth County’s beautiful Navesink River, the Borough of Red Bank has an area of 1.75 square miles and is approximately five miles inland from the Atlantic Ocean. The current population is estimated to be approximately 11,876. Boating, sculling, sailing, and fishing are popular outdoor activities in Red Bank; in the winter, ice boats sail on the frozen Navesink. Alongside Asbury Park and Long Branch the town is considered to be one of the three artistic communities of the Jersey Shore. The community is often compared to New York City’s Soho and Greenwich Village.
