Ocean Township

Ocean Township has a land area of 11.2 square miles and is located in eastern Monmouth County. Most of Ocean Township’s housing stock developed during the post-World War II housing boom, but it also includes apartments, townhouses and condominium complexes. Commercial activity in the township is concentrated along the corridors of Route 35 and Route 71. Several major highways pass through Ocean Township, making it a convenient place to live. The population of Ocean Township is 28,884.
