Middletown

Middletown Township has a land area of 41.08 square miles and has frontage on Sandy Hook Bay and the Navesink River. Middletown has a rich history, and was one of the very first settlements in New Jersey. Because of its large size and central location, Middletown has evolved into an extremely diverse community, with a balance of residential, commercial and industrial uses. Navesink River Road, running high above the Navesink River, is one of the most visually stunning roads in the county. Middletown is also home to Brookdale, Monmouth County’s Community College. The population of Middletown is 69,166.
